Mission: Our Library media center is dedicated to preparing students for lifelong learning in the 21st century. We will realize this goal by:
1) giving students the tools and skills necessary for information literacy, evaluation, and research,
2) teaching students about the appropriate and ethical use of our diverse, multi-faceted collection, including
not only books but also various digital resources,
3) providing equal access to information,
4) facilitating collaboration with peers and staff
5) cultivating a curiosity about their world and a lifelong love of learning which will follow them through
school, college, their career, and beyond.
Hours: The Library is open from 9:00am until 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Students have an assigned class
period during which to check materials out and in. Additionally, students are welcomed to come in
before homeroom or with a pass to circulate additional materials.
Circulation Limits: All students are allowed to have four books checked out for personal use at a time.
Due Dates: All books are due 7 days after they are checked out, but students may renew their books if they are not yet finished reading them.
